It’s been a busy week for Tren de Aragua watchers. First, InSight Crime released a superb nine-part investigation chronicling much of why the group’s future is so uncertain at the moment.

The day after, federal authorities in Colorado unsealed two indictments charging 30 individuals in a sprawling case tied to the Venezuelan gang. Twenty-eight defendants were indicted by a grand jury in Denver after a nine-month investigation, and two alleged gang leaders were charged after being captured abroad.
